The actress feels that 'Aashiqui 2' saw pretty much the end of Rahul (played by Aditya Roy Kapoor) and her character Aarohi's story.

Mumbai: Shraddha Kapoor is glad that her contemporary Alia Bhatt has been roped in for 'Aashiqui 3.'

Shraddha, who was a part of 'Aashiqui 2', believes the 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' star and Sidharth Malhotra will be "fabulous" together in the third installment of the film franchise.

"I think it's great, it's amazing. Sidharth and Alia confirmed... And it will be fabulous (to see them)," Shraddha told PTI.

The producers, Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar recently announced the forthcoming film with Alia and Sidharth.

When asked about why she did not feature in the third part, Shraddha said 'Aashiqui 2' was where the story had ended perfectly.

"I feel it would not be possible to be a part of 'Aashiqui 3'. I think it was pretty much the end of Rahul (played by Aditya Roy Kapoor) and Aarohi's story. When he passes away, we culminate Aarohi's story there.

"It did not make sense for us to be cast. It's amazing they are continuing with it and both the films 'Aashiqui' and 'Aashiqui 2' touched so many hearts and I am sure the third one will also do so."

Currently, Shraddha is awaiting the release of 'Haseena Parkar', that will hit the cinema houses on September 22.
