Kareena, Sonam starrer Veere Di Wedding opens with 10.70 crore at box office
It is the second highest female-centric opener of 2018 after Deepika Padukone, Ranveer, Shahid starrer ‘Padmaavat’.
‘Veere Di Wedding’, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania has collected 10.70 crore on it's opening Friday, making it the third highest opener of 2018.
It is the second highest female-centric opener of the year after Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Padmaavat’.
A film that celebrates friendship, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ was housefull at most places on the day of its release.
Registering an occupancy of 33% during early morning shows, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ showed positive trend on day one.
Says trade analyst Taran Adarsh, "Audience verdict is FINAL... #VeereDiWedding starts with a BIG BANG in morning shows... Noon shows SUPER-STRONG too... Undoubtedly, one of the best starts of 2018".
Going by the friday numbers, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is expected to show growth over the weekend and coming week.
Balaji Telefilms in association with Saffron Broadcast Media Ltd present Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network's ‘Veere Di Wedding’. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film released in India on 1st June.
