Watch: Sridevi, Akshaye, Nawazuddin take you on a thrilling ride in Mom teaser

Mumbai: The trailer of Raveena Tandon's 'Matr' was gripping and the film immediately got termed as her 'comeback film' and 'Mom' is also likely to be termed in a similar way for veteran actress Sridevi. 

Sridevi’s comeback film ‘English Vinglish’ was a success at the box office and her performance as a simple homemaker wanting to learn English earned applause from the critics.

While the veteran actress was seen in the Tamil film ‘Puli’ in 2015, she is returning to Bollywood after a gap of five years with ‘Mom’.

After the launch of a poster and a motion poster few days back, the first teaser of the film has also been unveiled.

The film comes out as a gripping suspense thriller. Sridevi’s character seems to be extremely concerned about her daughter and is seen getting involved in finding the truths associated with her daughter’s life.

After ‘Dishoom’ last year, Akshaye Khanna also plays another pivotal character and looks intense in the few glimpses of him in the teaser.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has a cameo in the film and is almost unrecognisable in his interesting look of a middle-aged man.

‘Mom’, directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor, is releasing on 14 July and has music composed by A. R. Rahman.
