Set destroyed by fire will take few days to recreate

The set erected at Mumbai’s film city for Shah Rukh Khan’s soon to release the film Zero was destroyed in a fire caused by a short circuit, sources from the unit have confirmed.

The source adds, “Thankfully Shahrukh and all his team members were in his van at that point in time. The news broke just as the shoot was about to begin, and we could not shoot as the set which had some mountains in the background and a lush, scenic locale had been destroyed badly.”

Shah Rukh was to shoot a song sequence all alone. No other actor was to participate in it.

Recreation of the same set is expected to take at least three or four days only after which can shooting proceed, our source concludes.
