A 22-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by a group of four persons after he had an argument with them. The incident was reported from southeast Delhi’s Ambedkar Nagar area on Wednesday at 5.30 pm.
According to the police, Aman was on his way to the market when his car brushed against a cart. He reportedly had an argument with the vendor pushing the cart for not giving him way. While he was arguing, four more persons joined in and started defending the vendor. This led to a heated argument between the two groups and a scuffle ensued between them.
“The two groups had a fistfight and one of the men who was carrying a loaded pistol opened fire. He fired three rounds and the bullets hit Am-an. He sustained three bullet wounds in his stomach and collapsed. The men then fled the scene,” a senior police officer said. “Aman’s fr-iends then made a PCR call and rushed him to the hospital, where he succumbed to his inju-ries. His body has been sent for a post-mortem examination,” he added.
The police have registered a case of murder in the matter and have begun the investigation. Sources said that the cops have identified the accused and it sent out teams to arrest them.
