Investigations into the murder of a young businessman in Kamla Market area on Sunday night have revealed that one of the accused disguised himself as an ordinary two-wheeler owner and made away with his parked Scooty a few minutes after the incident in the presence of police and public.
Police sources said that when they checked the CCTV footage, they found a youth parking his scooty just minutes before the incident and talking to someone on phone. “As Raheel came and other assailants attacked him, this youth joined them too and then escaped with them when the cops gave them the chase,” said the police, adding that “however, after a few minutes of the incident, he came back to the spot holding helmet in his hands and very easily slipped away with his scooty, disguising himself as any other concerned man.” Sources added that they have identified this youth as well. “We have identified him also, but he has been hiding alone and not with his associates,” said the police. “We have sent several teams to arrest the culprit who will be arrested soon,” the police added. The cops have till now arrested two accused, identified as Rehan and Adeel. They have disclosed that their associate would usually disguise himself in their crimes so that they could know the activity on the crime scenes.
