The Union health minister informed the Lok Sabha that the posts of faculties and doctors have not been filled due to various reasons — the selected candidates’ inability to join, unsuitability, unavailability, resignations and retirements of existing faculties.
“The filling up of posts is a continuous process and various steps, including special recruitment drives for filling up of reserved posts, are undertaken,” he said.
