Posing questions to the Kejriwal government in the capital, the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president, Ajay Maken, said that the 15-month-old government has failed to deliver its promises in almost all the sectors.
Mr Maken also asked for the resignation of Delhi minister Imran Hussain, following the Delhi high court asking for a reply from the Delhi government on the matter within four weeks after taking cognisance on a petition on the sting operation related to Mr Hussain. Mr Maken said the DPCC will take out a demonstration from the DPCC office to the Delhi Secretariat on Monday, seeking the resignation of Imran Hussain.
Addressing a press conference at the DPCC office, Mr Maken said in the sting operation, which was exposed by the Congress, it was recorded that Mr Hussain’s brother, an employee of his office and a junior engineer, was heard asking for Rs 30 lakh from the complainant as Imran Hussain had reportedly paid Rs 5 crore to become minister.
Mr Maken added that the AAP government had not only failed to fulfil the promises made to people, but even misled them through false promises and misleading advertisements.
