Three persons, including a juvenile, were nabbed after they allegedly tried to steal cars in northwest Delhi’s Raj Park and also set a few vehicles on fire to divert the attention of the police patrolling the area.
Deputy commissioner of police (northwest) Vijay Singh said, “The incident was reported in the early hours on Wednesday. The accused were identified with the help of CCTV footage”.
“We identified the accused after seeing the CCTV footage and then nabbed them. We took them for questioning thereafter,” the deputy commissioner added.
The duo, identified as Bhola and Michal, were detained in connection with the crime and after sustained interrogation, they gave the identity of the juvenile who was also involved.
