Delhi’s Patiala House courts has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Big Boss Season 10 contestant Swami Omji in connection with a case lodged against him and five others, including Hindu Sena president Vishnu Gupta.

Metropolitan magistrate Lovleen re-issued the NBW after he was informed that the summon that was earlier issued to Omji was not served to him. Other accused Mukesh Sharma, Prashant Patel, Rakesh Gurkha, Bhim Singh and Vishnu Gupta were present during the hearing.

“NBW issued against the accused Swami Omji received back unexpected. Issue fresh NBWs summon against the said accused through DCP concerned,” the court noted while fixing December 12 as the next date of hearing. Nahar Singh, who had given surety for Omji, told the court that Omji was participating in Big Boss.

This is the second NBW issued against Omji after joining Big Boss. Earlier, Delhi’s Saket court had issued a NBW against him in connection with a theft case lodged against him by his brother Pramod Jha. The court issued NBW after he did not appear before the court.

A police official said that during a protest Swami Omji and others had gone on rampage after which a case was lodged against them at the Chankayapuri police station.

The police said all the accused, including Omji, were released on bail.

The Bigg Boss contestant is also said to be involved in seven cases under the Arms Act and Tada. Besides, Swami is also alleged to keep obscene photos of women in his possession. He reportedly used them to extort money.
