A 59-year-old PWD executive engineer of the Rajasthan government posted at Jodhpur House in New Delhi was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly raping a minor girl.
According to the police, the victim, employed as a maid at the accused’s government accommodation behind Jodhpur House, alleged that on Monday evening she was raped by the accused at his house. She narrated the entire ordeal to her cousin brother on Tuesday morning. The victim’s brother took her to the Tughlak Road police station and filed a complaint against the engineer. The victim was sent for a medical examination. The case is under investigation.
