The body of an unidentified man was found at the site of the just-concluded World Culture Festival on the Yamuna floodplains on Monday, the police said.
The body, which was found in a highly-decomposed state, was not there when the entire area was scanned after the three-day cultural extravaganza organised by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's Art of Living Foundation came to an end on Sunday night. It was spotted by some labourers on Monday morning, a senior police official said.
“The highly-decomposed body is suspected to have been brought down by river current to the floodplains here,” the police official said.
