Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday ended his 10-day meditation course, saying he was “energised to overcome challenges.” He left Dharamkot, near McLeodganj, for Chandigarh by road and will fly to Delhi from there and would arrive in the city by Friday.

“Returning back from 10-day Vipassna course. Feeling v fresh n energetic (sic),” Mr Kejriwal tweeted.

The AAP chief, who reached Dharamsala on July 31, attended the meditation session from August 1 to 10. During the session, the Aam Aadmi Party leader had no access to newspapers or telephones.

He refused to comment on the Delhi high court ruling giving primacy to the lieutenant-governor in the affairs of the administration in the national capital. “I have no information as I just came out of the vipassana centre. I will study the orders before commenting on it,” he said. The Delhi CM also refused to comment on Punjab politics.

During the course, Mr Kejriwal stayed without his staff and nobody was allowed to meet him.
