A 13-year-old boy was critically injured after he fell off a balcony while throwing water balloons on the road in Northwest Delhi’s Pitampura area.
The boy is recuperating in a hospital where his condition is stated to be critical but stable. The police said no complaint was made into the incident but they instructed parents to keep a eye on children while celebrating Holi.
The incident happened on March 19 afternoon when Arthav Jindal, a resident of Shalimar Bagh, was playing with water balloons with his cousins at his uncle’s house in Pitampura area.
He was playing with his cousins on the first floor of the house. They were targeting pedestrians with water balloon. In one of his attempts, he fell off from the railing of the balcony in the presence of his cousins.
The matter came to light when a CCTV grab of the entire incident went viral on social media on Tuesday.
