Body of missing boy is found with throat slit
Body of a seven-year-old boy, who went missing on Thursday evening, was reportedly found with slit throat at an isolated spot in Outer Delhi’s Aman Vihar area on Friday afternoon.
Body of a seven-year-old boy, who went missing on Thursday evening, was reportedly found with slit throat at an isolated spot in Outer Delhi’s Aman Vihar area on Friday afternoon. The boy has been identified as Prince. Preliminary police investigation covers role of a tantrik in the boy’s murder.
According to the police, Prince was playing near his house in Kirari area of Aman Vihar. At around 6 pm, his mother went to call him inside, but could not find him. Anxious, his family and neighbours started frantically searching for him.
His relatives alleged that they searched everywhere and even went to an empty plot, but could not find him. They reported the matter to the police.
The Delhi police said that one of the neighbours informed the family that Prince’s body has been found at an empty plot of land. The body was wrapped in a sari and his hands and legs were tied with a rope.
The police was informed after which the body of the minor boy was taken for post-mortem. Preliminary investigation suggests that the boy was strangled. A case under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at the police station. Further investigation is on.
