Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay, MPs and senior leaders will take part in the protests at DJB headquarters and its 12 offices, the party’s media in charge, Praveen Kapoor said.
“Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has been claiming to end corruption, should answer why he is now silent on the DJB scam of Rs 400 crore under the Congress government, raised by his minister Kapil Mishra in August 2015,” Mr Upadhyay said.
Leader of the Opposition Vijender Gupta said Mr Kejriwal’s “silence” on the alleged scam “exposes his real character”.
DJB chief Kapil Mishra in August last year had highlighted the alleged scam.
