Delhi BJP held a demonstration against chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for raising doubts on Indian Army’s surgical strikes in PoK even as the Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday launched a protest outside the Pakistan embassy, saying that the country is doing a “false propaganda” to deny surgical strikes by India on its soil.

Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay and Leader Of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta led the demonstration by party’s minority and youth wing office-bearers against Mr Kejriwal’s veiled support to Pakistan’s propaganda against Indian Army’s surgical operation in PoK. Prominent amongst those present were minority morcha president Atif Rasheed, youth wing general secretaries Impreet Singh and Sunil Yadav.

The Delhi BJP has said the campaign which Mr Kejriwal and the Congress bosses have started is a co-ntinuity of the mindset which we saw when Cong-ress leader Mani Shankar Ayyer had sought Pakistan support in removing Prime Minister Narendra Modi from power.

Mr Satish Upadhyay rais-ed the issue of reports of coverage for Mr Kejriwal’s video message in Pakistan media and said that Mr Kejriwal has put to shame every Indian.

The AAP, meanwhile, said Pakistan is taking help of international media to deny surgical strikes carried out by India.

“We are proud of our brave soldiers. Pakistan should stop uttering falshood on the world stage,” Mr Pandey said. He said the party stands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Army on this issue.

“For very long we have heard that Arvind Kejriwal works for certain foreign agencies whose aim is to destabilise governments of developing nations and this video message of he leaves no doubt in mind of anybody about his being a part of an international effort to destabilise Indian government and Army. He has become a toy in hand for foreign agencies,” added Mr Upadhyay.

Mr Upadhyay pointed that yesterday’s video message is not only against Indian Army but it also violates the federal structure of the country prescribed by the Constitution. Defence is a Union subject and comes under the Centre, never has the country seen a Chief Minister commenting on army operations like Mr Kejriwal has done going against the constitutional propriety.

Mr Gupta said that today every citizen of Delhi and this country is condemning Mr Kejriwal. “By taking forward the language of Hafiz Saeed, Mr Kejriwal has promoted the agenda of Pakistan and people of India will never forgive him for this,” added Mr Gupta.
