Daring the Kejriwal government to come clean on its stand before the Supreme Court, DPCC chief Ajay Maken has demanded that the names of all ministers who were missing in action at the time of dengue and chikungunya outbreak in Delhi be presented to the apex court, with exact details of their absence from the national capital.
Mr Maken said that though, all along, the Kejriwal government has failed to discharge their primary duty towards the people of Delhi and have constantly indulged in blame and accusations, the loss of life on account of avertable crises of chikungunya and dengue was a serious public health disaster for wh-ich the political leadership should take responsibility.
“Now, since the apex court had sought the list of those who were responsible for handicapping the administration in Delhi, the people of Delhi demand that the names of Kejriwalji and his ministers shall be put in the affidavit, to be filed before Supreme Court on Monday,” said Mr Maken.
While the people of Delhi were battling an epidemic-like situation in the national capital, Mr Kejriwal was busy campaigning in Punjab; deputy chief minister was holidaying in Finland; health minister Satyender Jain was campaigning in Goa and Gopal Rai was electioneering in Chhattisgarh.
