With the national capital grappling with outbreak of dengue and chikungunya, the Aam Aadmi Party has urged all its legislators to work round-the-clock to help patients suffering from vector-borne diseases in their respective constituencies. AAP Delhi convenor Dilip Pandey said that the party legislators have launched fumigation drives in their respective constituencies and are assisting the patients complaining of fevers by taking them to hospitals and ensuring them treatment.

He asserted that the party along with the public’s support will win the fight over the vector borne diseases. “The public is happy with the work of our legislators and workers who are leaving no stone unturned to help them. They are assisting the patients in their area by ensuring them treatment,” he said.

He added that the party’s doctor’s cell is organising free medical camps in different Assemblies where the public is being provided with better treatment facilities. “If anybody is suffering from mild fever, they can consult the doctors who are part of these camps,” he said. AAP legislator Surinder Singh said that he has launched a fumigation drive in the NDMC area and has also visited hospitals.
