On the ninth day of implementing the scheme, the police said they have penalised 203 motorists for violating the vehicular restriction norms as against Friday’s figure of 136.

The enforcement teams of the government’s transport department fined 48 motorists, while revenue department booked 624 people. On Friday, the authorities had booked 720 violators of the scheme.
