: Another crucial match for RCB was just like any other day for skipper Virat Kohli. The 27-year-old registered yet another half-century, his fifth in the tournament as he battled injury to lead his side to a comfortable nine-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens in match 48 of the IPL on Monday.

Kohli (75*) along with AB de Villiers (59*) mesmerised fans as they piled on 115 runs for the second-wicket. Opener Chris Gayle (49) too saw himself among runs after a lengthy stretch of single digit scores.

Throwing the opposition to bat, Kohli and Co managed to restrict Gautam Gambhir-led KKR to 183. GG and Manish Pandey top scored for the Shah Rukh Khan co-owned side with 51 and 50 respectively.

Barring the run fest at the Eden, with the white leather going places, television viewers were left shell-shocked to hear ‘Roger’ Binny open the bowling for RCB during the match.

TV commentator Mel Jones, who was dolling out commentary during the KKR run-chase, mistook the former India selector’s son as ‘Roger’ Binny. That’s not all; it took well over 20 seconds or more for the former Australian women cricketer to rectify her faux pax.

At a time when commentators are being pulled up for their alleged remarks against cricketers, such kind of incidents can be avoided specially from professionals.

RCB have two more games left in their kitty which leaves them in a do-or-die scenario. They next face Kings XI Punjab on Wednesday and Delhi Daredevils on Sunday.
