India’s physically challenged cricket team won the three-match Twenty20 series 2-1 against Pakistan in the capital on Monday.In the third and final T20 match of the series organised by the All India Cricket Association for the physically challenged, the hosts posted 138 runs after electing to bat. Vikrant Keni scored a half century for the home team.
In reply, Pakistan tied the score as they reached 138 in their allotted 20 overs, losing eight wickets in the process. The two teams then playes the super over to decide the winners.In the super over, Umar Kamal’s brilliant effort with the bat helped Pakistan win the match by eight runs.
India’s Keni bagged the man of the match as well as man of the series awards for his batting.The Indian team got the winners’ trophy and a prize money of Rs1 lakh, while Pakistan team received Rs 50,000. The best bowler of the series award went to Iqbal Khan of India, while Pakistan’s Umar Kamal was adjudged the best batsman and Karim Khan of Pakistan got the best fielder award.
