Finance minister Arun Jaitley said Monday that there is a “mature relationship” between the Reserve Bank and the government, but refused to say if governor Raghuram Rajan will get another term.

Mr Jaitley expressed confidence that economic growth could accelerate to 10 per cent after a good monsoon and global tailwinds, and said the government will not relent in its crackdown on corruption to win Congress backing for key bills.

He said the GST Bill will be passed in the Monsoon Session as regional parties, including UPA allies like DMK and NCP, are all backing it.
