Broader Nifty registered a 0.37 per cent rise and rested on 8,635 level in morning trade.
After soaring over 962 in early session, the 30-share index pared some gains and was trading 687.63 points, or 1.81 per cent, higher at 38,618.40.

Benchmark Sensex rose 144 points or 0.52 per cent to rest at 27852.40 in early trade today.
Broader Nifty registered a 0.37 per cent rise and rested on 8,635 level in the morning trade. Bank Nifty index also saw an upward climb. It went up over 113 points or 0.58 per cent to rest at 1,9586 in early trade.
