Sensex up 100 points on Asian market cues
Nifty also moves up with broader index inching closer to its psychological level of 8,300.

After soaring over 962 in early session, the 30-share index pared some gains and was trading 687.63 points, or 1.81 per cent, higher at 38,618.40.
Mumbai: Sensex rose over 100 points in early morning trade today taking a cue from ‘strong’ Asian markets. The broader Nifty also moved up with the broader index inching closer to its psychological level of 8,300 in early trade today.
At 9:41 trading hours, the benchmark 30-share index was 92 points higher at 26,970 and Nifty went up 23 points to 8,297.
Asian markets started the day on a strong note taking cue from the US markets that opened in the green and have seen a surge over past couple of weeks.
All sectors witnessed a rush in buying except a few IT shares that saw a meek response from investors.
