Honda's Brazil unit is currently working on a sub-4 metre SUV, reportedly called the 'Honda WR-V'. The compact SUV will share its platform with the Jazz. Though the vehicle was first spotted in March this year, the front profile of the under-development SUV has been spied for the first time. The car will make its debut later this year in November during the 2016 São Paulo International Motor Show.

Speaking of the design, the side profile is unmistakably Jazz, as evinced from the doors, the window line, and the front vent glass. The front and rear profile are, however, entirely different compared to the hatchback. The front features a squared high-set bonnet and a bold set of headlamps. The grille appears similar to that of other Honda SUVs such as the HR-V and the BR-V. If you look at the pictures closely, the wheel arches are pronounced, courtesy to the all-around body cladding, which also encloses circular fog lamps.

The WR-V shares its platform and most of the components with the Jazz. So there’s the possibility that Honda might launch it in India early next year after its Brazilian debut. It will compete with other sub-4m SUVs such as the Ford EcoSport, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, and others.
