Datsun has revealed the specifications of redi-go which is scheduled for June launch. Datsun made the global unveil of redi-go in 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The main differentiator between the redi-go and kwid would be the style. While the kwid embraces SUV-ish style, datsun opts tall-boy stance for redi-go and hence stand-up seats for easy ingress.
The specifications of the redi-go - 3,429 mm in length, 1,560 mm in width and 1,541 mm in height. It has a ground clearance of 185 mm, which is 5 mm more than its cousin Kwid. Redi-go carries the same engine which already does duty under the hood of kwid. 799cc , 3-cylinder, petrol engine that can develop 53 BHP of peak power at 5,678 rpm and 72 Nm of peak torque at 4,388 rpm. According to Datsun, the Redi-Go will return a fuel efficiency figure of 25.17 kpl. The five colour options of Redi-go are silver, bronze gray, ruby red, green and white.
Among other features, the car will have a speed sensitive electric power steering and 13-inch wheels shod with 155/80 section tyres. It will come in five colour options - lime, silver, bronze gray, ruby and white. Once launched redi-go will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, Hyundai Eon and Renault Kwid.You can book redi-go through your nearest datsun dealer with Rs5000.
