Vodafone launches new scheme to lure customers, details here

Mumbai: Competition in the telecom sector has ramped up since Reliance Jio entered the market in 2016.

Vodafone Plc had merged with Idea Cellular last year in a deal worth USD 23 billion.

Due to price war in the telecom industry Vodafone launched new scheme ‘Har recharge pe Inaam offer’ for its prepaid customers. Under this scheme Voda-Idea customers will get reward points if they recharge or buy a bonus card or buy talktime pack, according  to a report by The Financial Express.

Vodafone has come out with this scheme to attract new customers and make the existing ones happy.

The users can recharge their phone from a Vodafone gallery to get the reward benefit. The customers can recharge their mobile phone by using Vodafone website or app, they can also use Paytm or any other payment app. It should also be noted that there's no minimum amount for recharge as all recharge values are applicable for this offer.

The offer will also be valid for new Vodafone customers. Users will have to be make sure that they avail the offers within 72 hours of recharge by going to the Vodafone app/website or by simply dialling *999# to activate the benefits for their number.

Vodafone user can also get multiple rewards by doing numerous recharges on their number. Other benefits users can get are free SMSes, extra free data, cashback, caller tunes, missed call information through SMS and many others as well.

These offers may help Vodafone to increase their customer base as well.
