Delivery helps Swiggy extend lead in mart
“People want convenience. They want to have food from their favourite restaurants at the comfort of their respective homes,” said Mr Srivats.
Hyderabad: Quick delivery helped Swiggy see off competition and seal the tag of being the preferred way for ordering food in Hyderabad, an official said to this newspaper.
Over the phone, Swiggy VP marketing Srivats T.S. said, “Our delivery time, which is the fastest among our rivals, has allowed us to take a significant lead over our rivals. We also try to maintain a healthy relationship with our partners (restaurants and delivery partners).”
Hyderabad, which witnessed an IT boom, saw people from all parts of India move in. To cater to the demand, various restaurants popped up but people, now, want to have food at the comfort of their homes.

He added, “Swiggy’s live tracking feature and late night deliveries helped us gain loyalty among our users.”
