Mumbai: Vodafone, country's second largest telecom operator after Bharti Airtel, has also taken a hit in its revenues after Reliance Jio's advent on India's telecom market.

The company has now extended its special Ramzan plans initially launched for Uttar Pradesh West to more regions, according to a report on NDTV.

"The new Ramzan plans offer considerably high data than the norm, ISD calls (to select countries) at lower tariffs, and unlimited voice calls within India at Rs 786," the report said.

Vodafone Ramzan 786 Plan offers unlimited voice calling, unlimited national roaming, and 25GB data at Rs 786 to its postpaid users in Assam and North-East.

And prepaid subscribers from Rajasthan will get full talk time and an ISD calling to UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia at just Rs 0.14 per second also at Rs 786, as part of its 'Vodafone Holy Ramzan Pack'.

For the North East circle, the company has announced it will offer a 50 per cent discount on all premium number series that have '786' in their mobile number. The company said this discount will be available for its pre-paid as well as post paid customers.

"We at Vodafone wish our customer a wonderful and fulfilling month of Ramzan. Keeping the Ramzan spirit in mind, we have introduced this new offer to enable our customers to stay connected with their loved ones and share their emotional and spiritual experiences," Nidhi Lauria, Business Head, Assam and North East, Vodafone India, told NDTV.
