The total market capitalisation (m-cap) of BSE listed companies stood at Rs 1,00,01,254 crore at the end of trade on Tuesday.
The benchmark BSE Sensex rose by 45.35 points to settle at 26,079.48. The barometer had gained 195.42 points in the previous session.
“Bulls continue to rule the Indian markets in line with its global partners. Domestic inve-stors continued their buying which helped the indices to head northwards,” said Gaurav Jain, Director, Hem Securities. Of the 30-Sensex constituents, 19 ended with gains while 11, led by BHEL, Coal India, Hindustan Unil-ever and ITC, fell.
