PUNE: At a time when mass car market is bleeding, the appetite of the rich and famous is only growing in India to lap up luxury super sport cars priced over Rs 3 crore.

Soon after its global debut earlier this month, Italian luxury super sports cars manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini is now targeting the growing millionaires and billionaires in Asia’s third biggest economy.

It sold 50 units of Lamborghini Urus SUV in India till September 2019, priced at Rs 3.12 crore. This was a huge success selling one Urus SUV every week, setting a new benchmark for the super luxury car segment in the country.

Lamborghini vehicles are all racing cars for the track for testing speed and performance as well as for the city roads for leisure, riding pleasure and sheer driving fun.  

On Wednesday it expanded the Huracan EVO line up in India by launching the Huracan Evo RWD (rear-wheel drive) priced at Rs 3.22 crore.
