Diesel-manual 2WD variants built between 18 December 2017 and 18 November 2018 recalled.

The extended warranty package is being offered at an introductory price starting at Rs 25,000 until May 31. However, these will go up from June 1 onwards. Here are the prices of the warranty package for each variant:

Jeep Compass Sport - Rs 25,000

The extended warranty package also includes complimentary 24x7 Roadside Assistance (RSA). The RSA provides assistance in case of minor onsite repairs, fuel and battery issues, key recovery, electrical or mechanical breakdown, accidental breakdown as well as taxi and towing facilities. Jeep has added that the extended warranty package as well as the complimentary RSA can be transferred to second owners with ease as well.

Meanwhile, the company has also issued a recall for diesel-manual 2WD variants of the SUV manufactured between 18 December 2017 and 18 November 2018 to update the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) software of the Compass. 11,002 units of the Compass are said to be affected by an issue in the software that may cause non-compliance with emission norms. The company has added that the software refresh takes around 15 minutes and will be carried out at no cost to the owner.
