Car companies are lining up a range of exciting products to be unveiled at the Auto Expo which will be held from February 5 to 9.

Car companies are lining up a range of exciting products to be unveiled at the Auto Expo which will be held from February 5 to 9.

India’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki will showcase its upcoming compact SUV Vitara Brezza and concepts of hatchback Ignis and Baleno RS, along with a new-generation vehicle platform at the Auto Expo.

Maruti’s compact SUV, Vitara Brezza, will be globally unveiled on February 3 at Delhi Auto Expo. Vitara Brezza has been designed and engineered by the Maruti Suzuki development teams led by the chief engineer C.V. Raman. The concept Ignis is a compact urban concept vehicle, which will be unveiled on February 4th.

Another concept car which Maruti will showcase will be Baleno RS, which is a sporty version of its latest premium hatchback Baleno powered by a 1 litre boosterjet engine. Maruti said that the new engine punches far above its weight to deliver amazing power and road speed, for those who look for that additional zip in their drive.

German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz will unveil its India bound S-Class Cabriolet at the Auto Expo. It will also showcase its exclusive and highly customised product in the armoured luxury car segment in India, the Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Guard. For racing enthusiasts Mercedes-Benz will display in its pavilion the special Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 team’s FIA World Championship title winning car.

American automaker General Motors India will showcase two new concept vehicles and its new-generation car line, including the upcoming multi-purpose vehicle “Spin”, at the Delhi Auto Expo.

Chevrolet will also have on display showstoppers such as the Corvette and Camaro sports cars, Chevrolet Colorado pick-up as well as the recently-launched Trailblazer and the new Cruze with styling and feature upgrades. Spin, which is slated to be launched in 2017, will also be on display.

Japanese carmaker Honda Cars will exhibit a range of vehicles, including the India debut of its crossover utility vehicle Honda BR-V. at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo.
