Former US first lady, Michelle Obama, unveiled the book cover of her much anticipated memoir Becoming recently. The book will be published globally on November 13.
She selected the cover picture for her book jacket from a photoshoot that was done earlier this year in Washington. Penguin Random House is the publisher of the memoir. The former first lady took to her Instagram account for the reveal, captioning her post with an inspiring message:
“The process of writing this book has been so personally meaningful and illuminating for me. As I prepare to share BECOMING this fall, I hope you’ll also think about your own story, and trust that it will help you become whoever you aspire to be. Your story is what you have, what you will always have. It is something to own.”
As per Penguin Random House’s statement, in her memoir, which includes storytelling and reflection, Michelle invites readers into her world, documenting experiences that have shaped her from her childhood.
