Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has finally admitted that he is going to become a father. When asked about the reports doing rounds about his wife’s pregnancy, the actor told reporters, “Why are you asking ghuma firake (round about), ask directly. Yes...haan mein baap banne wala hoon (Yes, I am going to become a father).”
He was talking to reporters at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Udta Punjab in Mumbai. Shahid and his wife Mira Rajput who tied the knot in July last year are expecting their first child. Mira’s reported pregnancy became a talking point when she walked the ramp at the fashion week recently with an evident baby bump.
A recent post by fashion designer and close friend Masaba Gupta on her Instagram page breathed fire to the rumour and set the gossip mills abuzz when she hinted at Mira’s pregnancy.
It was reported earlier that Mira who is in the early stage of her pregnancy flew to Punjab to spend some quiet time with her family.
