Why must dad come to Hrithik Roshan’s rescue, asks Kangana Ranaut

There seems to be no end in sight to the feud between Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut. The actress raked up the matter again when she enquired why the Bang Bang actor needed his father to rescue him from controversies.

Recently, Hrithik’s father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan said in an interview that his son chose to remain calm and dignified, when someone was spreading ‘rumours’ about him. He was obviously referring to the long-standing battle between Kangana and Hrithik. He further mentioned that if Hrithik chose to come clean on the truth, it would shock everyone.

Initially, when the journalist at the event asked Kangana to comment on Rakesh’s answers, her sister Rangoli came to her rescue, saying that the question could be skipped. Kangana, though, chose to respond to the question instead.

“Why can’t men stand up for themselves,” she asked. “He (Hrithik) is a 43-year-old son. I just can’t understand why his father has to come to rescue him from all these small controversies.”

Kangana was speaking at the launch of Chetan Bhagat’s latest novel, One Indian Girl. “For how long will they keep hiding behind their influential, fathers He’s an adult and he can pretty much handle his own controversies in the show business. It’s just a simple controversy. Why do daddies have to always save their sons I don’t understand this,” she opined candidly.
