It was an eerily emotional Republic Day morning for Sonam Kapoor when she visited the Bombay Scottish School. This was the school attended by Neerja Bhanot, the heroic airhostess who perished while saving the lives of hundreds of hijacked passengers on board a Pan Am flight on September 5, 1986. The actress was seen wearing a khadi sari as she made her way to the flag hoisting ceremony sharp at 7.30 in the morning. Ram Madhvani, the director of Neerja, accompanied his leading lady as the latter interacted with the students, while enlightening them about Neerja’s courage.
