Watch: Trailer of Emraan Hashmi's horror flick Raaz Reboot is anything but scary

The film isn't spooky but it surely will give you major deja-vu and remind you of 2002's 'Raaz'.

Mumbai: After keeping fans on their toes by posting intriguing posters of ‘Raaz Reboot’, the makers have finally released the film’s first trailer. The trailer, which stars Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora, will remind you of the very first film from the franchise.

The horror film’s trailer looks anything but spooky. In fact, few seconds in and you’ll be instantly reminded of Vikram Bhatt’s 2002 film ‘Raaz’. With the same done and dusted backdrop, the film lacks story, drama and most importantly, chills.

Maybe it’s time the makers let the Raaz franchise be, for real. Even 'Raaz: The Mystery Continues' succeeded in keeping the audiences on hook but then came 'Raaz 3' and as if the its failure wasn't enough, the makers went ahead with the franchise and here we have 'Reboot'.

It's believed that Emraan plays a fashion photographer who has rehabilitated himself after a stint with drugs and alcohol abuse. The movie directed by Vikram Bhatt also marks the Bollywood debut of Kriti Kharbanda.

The film also stars Gaurav Arora who made his debut in Vikram's 'Love Games'. He will essay the role of a debonair banker who heads the East European Finance Consortium.
