And according to reports, Anil has roped in actor Sikandar Kher, who earned rave reviews for his performance in Tere Bin Laden 2, for a negative role in the series.
A close source reveals, “Sikandar will be seen playing a negative character in the second season. Not only did he get the dialect right but he also made sure his body language complements the character.” As to how Sikandar landed the role, the source reveals, “Sikandar had a telephonic conversation with Anil Kapoor for the role. His fluency of the language and his flavour impressed Anil, Abhinay deo and Rensil and it was decided to take him on board. The actor too is all excited about his character.”
When contacted about the development, Sikandar said, “It’s great to be a part of 24, mainly because it is a change from routine TV shows. Also working with Anil sir is a great experience.”
