: Looks like 2016 is a year of surprises for actress Shraddha Kapoor. Recently Karan Johar has announced the remake of 'Ok Kanmani' to be directed by Shaad Ali where Shraddha Kapoor will be seen a female lead opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor. After much speculation, it has now been reported that actress Shraddha Kapoor will be seen as the leading lady in Mohit Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’. The movie is based on Chetan Bhagat’s popular novel of the same name. This will be the third collaboration of director Mohit Suri and Shraddha Kapoor after ‘Aashiqui 2’ and ‘Ek Villain’. Rumors were doing the rounds that Parineeti Chopra or Kriti Sanon might bag the role. The makers have roped in Sushant Singh Rajput for the male lead who is currently shooting for Dhoni biopic. Mohit Suri and Chetan Bhagat will also be co-producing the film.
