After his neuro-surgery in 2011, doctors had asked Salman Khan not to tamper with his physique. He had been warned to stay away from action scenes. All the stunts we saw in films like the Dabangg series and Kick were performed by body doubles.

But that won’t be the case in his next film Sultan, where Salman plays a wrestler. He’ll not only perform the dangerous wrestling scenes himself, he will also be undergoing three stages of physical training where he’ll go from bulky to lean to muscular in quick succession, to mark his journey from the 20s to 30s to finally 40 plus.

Says a source, “Salman has already gone through the bulky phase. He will get rid of all the extra flesh now for the lean look and it will happen over the next month. That is phase two in his character Sultan’s life. Then he’ll Salman will go through phase three for the muscular look. These swift changes in his metabolism are not advisable given his medical history. But this time Salman is determined to make his character as authentic as possible.”

Meet Bros Salman’s new favourite Salman, who is known for mentoring new talents seem to have taken the popular music duo Meet Bros under his wing. Insiders say, he has promised them song deals in his upcoming projects. “The success of Kick and Baby Doll have made them popular in the industry. Now Salman Khan has been promoting them too. The meeting happened last week at the actor’s farmhouse. It appears, after Himesh Reshmiya and Sajid-Wajid, a new talent has found its way into the Salman Khan camp.”
