Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Sidharth Malhotra are just a few names that are touted to be frontrunners for Ram and Lakhan’s role.
Ram Lakhan is a collaboration between Dharma Productions, Subhash Ghai and Rohit Shetty. After Dilwale, Rohit got down to work with his team to write the final draft of the Ram Lakhan remake. After the draft was ready, the director started approaching every leading actor today. However, given Rohit’s reputation of delivering masala blockbusters, these actors had something else in mind — a full-fledged solo film with the director helming the project. Hence, Ram Lakhan hasn’t been able to reach the filming stage. Rohit decided to focus his energies on Golmaal 4, which will go on floors early next year.
