“Priyanka was sure that she didn’t want to do a run-of-the-mill dance act. From the red carpet the cameras followed her onto the stage. It was a 3-4 minute gig that turned out to be an innovative and an expensive act,” says a source. Multiple cameras were set on the red carpet trail that followed her right up to the stage. It was one of the costliest acts of the evening. A whopping Rs 1.25 crore was splurged on her remuneration and the entire act, making her the highest paid female actor in B-town award functions.
