A peek into Urmila’s hush hush wedding

The Rangeela actor Urmila Matondkar’s wedding to Kashmiri businessman and former Mr. India runner-up Mohsin Akhtar wasn’t the grand affair that Bollywood usually indulges in, but was a classy one nonetheless.

Held at the actress’ suburban residence in Mumbai, it saw no celebrities — barring Manish Malhotra, whose creation the bride wore on the big day. The couple got married in two different ceremonies — a Muslim nikaah and a Hindu ceremony replete with pheras and a havan, after which they threw a terrace party for close friends and family. The two will continue living in Mumbai.
