Director Maneesh Sharma and Parineeti Chopra have long been rumoured to be seeing each other. Even though the actress has never confirmed her relationship status, she has often referred to him as the “angel” in her life. Very recently, the two were spotted involved in a long, what appeared to be a serious conversation late in the night at the Yash Raj Films studios.
An eyewitness said, “They were seated facing each other on the staircase that leads to one of the shooting floors. That spot is not an isolated one, so it’s not like they were trying to hide themselves. They appeared to be having a serious conversation where a distressed Parineeti was trying to put her point across to Maneesh. For the most part, he was playing the patient listener.”
The conversation lasted for 15-20 minutes till a superstar’s car entered the same area. The star didn’t see them, as he was too preoccupied with himself. A couple of minutes later, Parineeti walked towards the corporate building while Maneesh headed in the opposite direction.
The two were staying in the same building for a long time. But just a couple of months ago, Parineeti moved into her own apartment in Bandra. Pari and Maneesh go back a long way. When Maneesh was making his first film Band Baaja Baarat, he had suggested to Parineeti that she should give acting a try. Since then, the two have been going steady and they also took a holiday together last year. In fact, she was also spotted hanging around the sets of Fan that Maneesh was shooting some time ago. During the making of their last film together Shuddh Desi Romance, she had accompanied Maneesh for the recce. Also, her next film Meri Pyaari Bindu with Ayushmann Khurrana has been produced by Maneesh.
