Now, Ali Fazal turns director

Ali Fazal’s career graph has been moving upwards. After his last successful outing, Happy Bhaag Jayegi, the actor is currently in London shooting for his Hollywood project Victoria and Abdul with Dame Judi Dench. We now hear that the actor is expanding his horizons, as he is looking to direct and write projects.

Ali has been working on a short web film, which he hopes can go live by early 2017. The digital venture, started by Ali and his friend, will create content for a web portal and Ali will direct the maiden project. When we contacted Ali, he confirmed the news saying, “This project is something my friend and I friend have been working on for some time. I am looking forward to entertain audiences with my attempt. My first project is an animation film, which I will be directing.”
