Mishti to romance Naseeruddin Shah in Begum Jaan

Mishti, who marked her Bollywood debut with Subhash Ghai’s Kaanchi, may not have made a lasting first impression, but the Bengali actress has a lot going for her. After making an appearance the Ghai film opposite Kartik Aaryan, Mishti was seen in Great Grand Masti. And now, she is set to feature in Mahesh Bhatt’s Begum Jaan, with Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles. Gauhar Khan, Ila Arun and Pallavi Sharda will also be seem pivotal roles in the film.

Talking about her role in the film, the actress said, “We have wrapped up the shoot of the film. I have all my main scenes with Vidya Balan and Naseerudin Shah. My character is quite different from the others in the film as it gives a different angle to the story.”

Reluctant to comment about her steamy sequences in the film with Naseeruddin Shah she said, “The makers don’t want to reveal much about it, so I can’t talk about it right now. Wait until the movie comes out to know the truth.”
