The savage reviews of Remo D’Souza’s The Flying Jatt have not deterred its leading man Tiger Shroff. In fact, the duo is already planning a second film in the series. Tiger maintains that it was a hit with children. He says, “The kids loved my Flying Jatt act. It’s interesting to note that the children are taking the Swachch Bharat message seriously. I even heard from a mother that her child woke up very early in the morning and told his mother to throw away all the garbage in and around the house, so that the film’s villain Raka doesn’t get a chance to get powerful.” In A Flying Jatt the villain Raka feeds on trash as fuel.

Tiger finds it overwhelming to realise that children look up to him as a superhero after watching the film. He continues, “Kids actually feel that I can save the world. That was the most heart-warming response I have received. If the kids have got the message in the film then we’ve succeeded.”

Tiger attributes the slow start to A Flying Jatt to the film’s unusual release date. He states, “Half the people were not aware that the film released on Thursday rather than Friday, because of Janmashtami. While we are happy to have come on the auspicious day, many people didn’t even know the film was released a day before Friday” Tiger was theatre-hopping all of Friday and Saturday and he is pleased. “Our film has connected with the audience. I am happy,” he concludes.
