Katrina Kaif to star in a Dharma movie soon

It’s been years since Katrina Kaif was supposed to have done a Dharma Productions movie, but things never ended up falling into place. That is, until now. Katrina Kaif, who is on a comeback trail after her heartbreak, is all set to play the lead in Karan Johar’s film, titled Sufi, which is to be directed by debutant director Aditya Dhar.

Aditya had originally planned the film in 2011, with Chitrangada Singh and Prateik Babbar. Things didn’t work out then, however. Finally, it was Karan’s current partiality towards Fawad Khan that seems to have worked in Katrina’s favour. Not only did Fawad feature in Dharma’s Kapoor & Sons, he’s also playing a pivotal part in Karan’s directorial, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Katrina, on the other hand, has not featured in any Dharma movie, except for her sizzling dance number, Chikni Chameli in Agneepath. She was supposed to star alongside John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in Dostana 2, but the movie never got made. Things have finally fallen into place for Katrina and Dharma!
